This is the longest established hotel in The Gambia, owned and managed by Corinthia Hotels. During the winter there is a wide range of sports facilities and organised activities throughout the day including tennis, squash, croquet, basketball, volleyball, pool, snooker

Entertainment is provided in the evening, but there is only a very limited programme in summer. Within the hotel there are eateries to suit all tastes with a choice of three restaurant plus a hairdresser, gift shop, games room and disco.

A particular feature of the hotel is the charming bird garden which is popular with all guests not just birdwatchers. Another stunning feature is the large area of beach directly outside hotel that has recently been further improved with new parasols.

The reception area and public rooms are spacious and comfortable, while the rooms offer a high standard of accommodation with air-conditioning, mini-bar, TV, hairdryer and telephone.

The Corinthia Atlantic is located away from the majority of tourist hotels. Situated about ten minutes walk from the centre of Banjul lwhich has little to offer by way of nightlife, this hotel really caters for guests wishing to stay in during the evening with a full winter entertainment programme. The location does provide an ideal base for those wishing to explore the capital, or for the adventurous, take the local Barra ferry to the North Bank.

Please note the hotel offers a cash-free policy in its bars and restaurants; guests can sign for food and drink and settle their bill at reception.
